"This vintage botanical illustration, Three Tulips was painted by Paul De Longpre and published in the 1890 edition of Revue Horticole, which featured botanical illustrations and paintings of flowers and plants by leading botanical illustrators and painters. De Longpre was an extremely gifted and successful painter who lived in Los Angeles on his own estate, where he maintined a garden of 4,000 rose bushes. We've restored the vintage print and laid it over a black marble background to showcase the marvelous coloration and detail of De Longpre's work."
